Shame in Sexuality - In person circle

Join us on Sunday 27th of October for our In-person circle. Topic: Shame.

Shame dies when stories are told in safe spaces - Ann Voskamp

Shame is the most common subject that arises in Come What May Circles. Shame is a key theme to work through as we progress and grow in our sxxual lives, and everybody has a Shame story. Whether it be Internal Shame - how we perceive our own body, thoughts, kinks etc - to External Shame - from society, parents, friends etc - we've all been there at some stage. So let's talk about it..

Prompts of Enquiry:

• Can you share a time when you felt ashamed about your sxxuality? How did that experience impact you?

• How has shame affected your relationship with yourself and others?

• What are some strategies you’ve used to cope with or overcome feelings of shame ?

• In what ways do you think society perpetuates shame?

• How can we turn feelings of shame into opportunities for personal growth ?

A reminder - Please be on time!
